POET Systems Featured in Business News Wales for New Energy and Environmental Management Technology
POET Systems has been featured in Business News Wales following the expansion of the POET manufacturing performance platform with new energy and environmental management capabilities.
Known as POET’s Lean Environmental and Energy Management (LEEM), the new functionality brings energy consumption and environmental monitoring data into POET’s existing dashboards. Manufacturers can view electricity, gas, water and oil consumption alongside operational performance, as well as measurements including CO₂, humidity, noise and light levels.
The technology is currently being piloted by a large manufacturing business in Bridgend. Early findings have identified significant periods in which machinery continues consuming energy while processes are idle, revealing opportunities to reduce waste and potentially achieve six-figure savings.
