POET’s Lynn Davies has loved being part of the SMART Digital Accelerator project at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David.
He joined the project team as an expert adviser and is proud to have contributed to such a successful initiative supporting digital transformation in Welsh manufacturing.
Funded by the Welsh Government, the project was driven by the goal of helping manufacturers in Wales identify the right technology, in the right area, to create the right impact. This included implementing cloud-based manufacturing software and tools to enhance manufacturing productivity and improve operational efficiency.
Working alongside an incredibly experienced team, the project surpassed all expectations and demonstrated the power of real-time production tracking and data-driven decision-making to support Operations Optimisation.
It has also led to new relationships and collaborations for Lynn and the wider POET team, helping to further advance digital innovation in manufacturing across Wales.
